Provide end-to-end desktop/laptop assistance and system support to the company staff in Mesaieed and Ras Laffan
Assists in daily operation of the help desk, which includes, but is not limited to resolving service requests through hands-on work with PCs, laptops, printers, handheld devices, servers and all other associated computer peripherals and software.
Assist with the creation of standard desktop/laptop software images.
Perform special projects and related work as and when required.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Must have excellent windows desktop support experience with excellent communication skills.
Must have experience in remote control software.
Must be customer oriented and should have hands on experience of supporting business users for various IT services and applications.
Must have experience in working on and supporting any helpdesk ticketing solution.
Good knowledge of IT security, controls & Network infrastructure, with some IT planning experience.
Certifications like MCSE, MCITP, MCM, MCSM; A+; HP Service Technician or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years’ experience or more.
Must have an experience working in the Oil and Gas sector and has undergone training and/or having HSE certifications from Oil and Gas sector for those trainings.
