Job Summary and Purpose To provide Logistics, Marine and Shipping Services to the Projects Department, and to facilitate smooth operations of the project’s day to day operational requirements from NAC office or defined work location. Accountabilities Key Accountabilities:
1. Ensure that e-mails/faxes from principals / clients are replied /acknowledged in the shortest time possible.
2. Ensure all day to day logistics, marine, shipping operations are been arranged and followed up (Shipment clearances, Shipment deliveries, Shipment storages) with client, contractors, authorities, and services providers.
3. Preparing Visas, Gate passes, offshore passes, shipments clearance docs accurately and liaise with relevant department/services providers for processing of same.
4. Ensure project transport (personal and materials) and other operational requirements are planned well, for smooth operations.
5. Liaise closely with inter Departments for the related support services.
6. Make hotel, air ticket, training, medical arrangements as required.
7. Maintaining up to date records of visa, gate pass, shipments, transport arrangements, enabling to update the Client for timely renewals/arrangements and liaise with relevant department for the arrangements.
8. Ensure all expense related documents are received by the respective services providers and been posted for finalization of DA.
9. Ensure that the SAP/Fiori is updated with services provided against each DA. Accountabilities – 2 Generic Accountabilities: Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality (SHEQ):

Having some experience in cost/expense and invoicing will be an advantage.

Preferably a Diploma in Business Administration or in Shipping, Marine, Logistics industry related fields.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Logistics, Marine, Shipping operations and related services.
Job Specific Skills:
Interpersonal communication skills.Use of Window based software (i.e. MS Office Suite); SAP application will be an added advantage.Multi-tasking skills.Language – English – Fluent in reading and writing. (Arabic is an advantage).
