Strategy
Lead and drive the strategy, business plans, goals and objectives for the local and international expansion of Milaha Warehousing & Distribution activitiesCreate global Milaha Warehousing & Distribution product definitions, value propositions and global strategy in close coordination and synchronisation with other business unitsDrive and develop increased Warehousing & Distribution through the global network partners and Milaha Commercial organisation in Logistics and M&L Lead improvement programs across multiple channels; productivity, costs, inventory and turnaround timesLead, direct, supervise and develop the Warehousing and Distribution organization to deliver to full potential and proactively enable the organisation to adapt, grow and benefit from changes in market and customer needs Align all Milaha W&D processes across the multiple locations Customer Experience
Strengthen customer relations by engagement and developing effective processes/systems for delivering and improving customer service and interaction Drive continuous client needs analysis and develop, implement, improve and expand related services, products, programs and policiesEnsure all operations/work processes documented and executed in accordance with relevant legal, regulatory and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required Metrics and Analytics
Drive continuous improvement of process efficiency, reduction of cost and improved profit through reviews/action plans and structured frequent performance management for employees, suppliers and network partnersStructure and execute on-going performance follow-up to ensure that internal/external goals and objectives are achieved and that all suppliers, network partners and employees deliver to their maximum potential in line with established objectives and in adherence to Milaha standards and goals Lead and supervise timely preparation of quality budgets/forecasts/financial and performance reporting for all Milaha Warehousing & Distribution activities globally and in Qatar specifically Leadership and Training
Provide recommendations on new subordinate hires and ensure the availability of all resources required to perform assigned tasks and activitiesSupervise subordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance and review resultsAct as a coach to subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses and follow-up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves and absenteeism Drive effective recruiting, onboarding, integration and development of new qualified colleagues to ensure the availability of qualified resources and leadership pipeline Align all W&D operations and staffing according to volumes and customer requirements Other
Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned Qualifications Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor’s DegreeMaster’s Degrees is preferred
Professional Experience:
Min 10 years of experience in a similar role in Logistics/ Warehousing & DistributionMin 10 years of experience in running multi-site warehousing operationsSupply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service and Operations experience is preferredExperience in managing large number of workforce in multiple sites
Geographic Experience:
Middle East/GCC experienceInternational experience is preferred
Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Office and web applicationsExperience in using modern WMS systems
Language Skills:
– Fluent in English – both written and spoken
Fluent Arabic is a plus
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:
