Program/ Department Summary
Mercy Corps (MC) is a non-profit, non-aligned, secular non-governmental (NGO) humanitarian relief and development organization, registered in the United States and Scotland with offices in more than 40 countries around the world, including Jordan, where the organization has been active in implementation of relief and development programs for more than a decade.
General Position Summary
Mercy Corps implements multiple programs for the benefit of Jordanian people. This position will support Mercy Corps’ programs in the Jordan by providing leadership and oversight to the HR team, in close coordination with the Finance Department and other administrative staff based in Amman.

Knowledge and Experience
This position requires demonstrated experience and skill in provision of human resource and administration, excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English, ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently, with a close attention to details and ability to follow agency and donor procedures while meeting deadlines. The position requires a person who is adaptable and able to work under difficult or stressful conditions. Credentials and relevant experience required for the position are as follows:
