Position Description:
Lenovo/Motorola Mobility is seeking highly talented & motivated researchers with profound understanding and demonstrated experience in wireless communication and Cybersecurity to join our world-class wireless research group.
What will you be doing:
This Industrial PhD position is part of an EU research project focused on the Secure design and deployment of trustworthy continuum computing for 6G services. You will work alongside top security researchers and professionals to identify risks and threats at the network, device and computing infrastructure levels for the next generation networks and services. Your daily work will address and enable fundamental cybersecurity, trust, and privacy building blocks empowering a Zero Trust, secure and smart 6G services framework. To this end, you will study security methodologies and solutions to ensure a secure, trustworthy, and privacy-preserving compute environment for supporting the next generation of 6G services along the full device-edge-cloud-continuum of heterogenous multi-domain networks. You will be leveraging state-of-art machine learning (ML) and AI mechanisms to design monitoring and security elements for next generation mobile networks orchestration layers, network functions and services. Your work will thus contribute to the design of a dynamic security framework able to react to the ever-changing threat surface of future mobile networks systems and services.
