The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager / Fixed Term Project:



Job Purpose:



The Senior project manager overall responsibility is to lead for the successful initiation, planning, design,execution,monitoring,controlling and closure of a project that includes all types of the project planning and implementing of all the project phases until the successful closing of the project.





Major Responsibilities:



– Assist in the identification and allocation of project resources (staff, budget, resources, equipment).

– Create detailed work plans and log frames needed to successfully

complete the project.

– Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the donor and the field staff.

– Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes and

financial reports on regular basis to the doner.

– Presenting IFH in working groups, task forces and coordination meetings.

– Responsible for the preparation and submitting activity of annual activity -based project budgets as well as monthly and quarterly financial reports ,

– Ensure proper and effective use of project resources, ensuring that all resources/assets in the project are managed in line with Donor policy.

– Manage project budget, including phased budgets, monthly budget forecasting, and quarterly budget revisions for the project.

– Develop the project Monitoring & Evaluation and indicator tracking plans, and additional M&E tools as necessary to monitor project progress, with support from the MEAL team.

– Carry out any other tasks and obligations assigned to you by your line manager that fit within your area of expertise.



Education & Experience:



– Bachelor’s degree in management, or any related Field. Master’s degree is a plus.

– Relevant professional experience in managing big scale project.

– PMP or PMD Certificate is a Plus.



Skills & Abilities:



– Good awareness of the law and regulations of humanitarian and international institutions.

– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic.

– Excellent communication, analytical skills.

– Ability of working and understanding multicultural environments in which development and community engagement projects operate.

– Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).





Language Requirements:



–  Excellent English & Arabic communication skills (both oral and written).
