Our Client
A healthcare company based in Abu Dhabi, part of a highly regarded holding group have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Accountant to join their team.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts preparing a trial balance reconciling entries
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Support month-end and year-end close process, preparing monthly financial reports
- Preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns for submission to Tax authority
- Liaise with external auditors in preparation for audit and attend all queries and requirements from auditors.
- Preparation of bank requirements like KYC and ensure that compliance is attended on time
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CA/CPA/CMA qualified.
- 8-10 years of similar role experience, ideally in the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with ERP- Microsoft Dynamics AX/ SAP/Oracle is preferred.
- Proven ability to prioritize projects and initiate follow through with meticulous attention detail
