The USAID/Jordan Business Growth Activity (BGA) will enable Jordanian small-to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups to improve their productivity and competitiveness, create new jobs and innovation across a range of growth sectors, as well as advance Jordan towards a more prosperous, resilient, and inclusive future.
BGA will support SMEs and startups with growth potential to scale domestically and globally based on their financial health, sales growth, potential for job generation, impact on the local ecosystem, and degree of innovation whether in business model or market approach, product and technology enabled service.
FHI 360 has hired a third-party vendor to create a new data collection/MEL/KMS platform (herein after referred to as “Platform”) according to the BGA’s needs and workflow. The Platform will be developed in multiple phases as detailed in Section 5 – Scope of Work of the attached RFP. At the end of the first phase a minimum viable product (MVP) will be delivered that will be able to accept applications from Jordanian SMEs and startups (herein after referred to as “firms”) and store them in platform’s database for further review. The MVP should pass user acceptance testing (UAT) criteria. In the following phases the rest of features will be developed by vendor, incrementally adding new modules and features as described in the RFP.
BGA Team seeks to engage an experienced Product Delivery Manager with an excellent track record to ensure the success in the Platform development and deployment process. This is expected to be a seven (7) month consultancy (Sept 2022 through March 2023) with approximately 60 days of effort required.
The Product Delivery Manager will gain a deep understanding of Platform requirements, will support and oversee the implementation of the Platform through all the phases, and will ensure completion of the project on schedule and with expected quality. Acting in the best interest of BGA team and other key stakeholders, the Manager will work closely with both the BGA team and the software development team, playing a key role of a mediator and liaison, ensuring the timely implementation of all of the requirements as described in the SOW.
Immediate hiring for seven (7) month, part-time consultancy. Total anticipated level of effort over the period is 60 days.
