The ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the shipbuilding industry and possess a strong ability to read and interpret shipbuilding drawings.Key Responsibilities:Fabrication & Assembly: Perform steel fitting tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts according to shipbuilding specifications.Reading Drawings: Interpret and work from technical shipbuilding drawings, ensuring accurate construction and alignment of all structural components.Installation: Fit and install structural components on ships, ensuring all parts are secure and meet quality standards.Quality Control: Inspect and verify the accuracy of fit and alignment, ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards.Collaboration: Work closely with welders, engineers, and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of shipbuilding projects.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience as a Steel Fitter in the shipbuilding industry.Proficient in reading and interpreting shipbuilding drawings.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations within the shipbuilding industry.Benefits:Competitive salary packageOpportunity to work on challenging and rewarding shipbuilding projects in EuropeAccommodation and relocation assistance providedProfessional development and training opportunities
