Key Responsibilities
As the in-shaft surveying resource, you will be responsible for collecting high-resolution point cloud data of the excavation, monitoring the excavation depth and diameter, and maintaining the guidance system where applicable.
Additional Duties
- Monitor the shaft alignment (plumb, rotation, etc.)
- Set out probe holes and drill patterns for blasting purposes where applicable
- Set out lining pours and shaft installations such as brackets, etc., as required
- Carry out surveys of accident sites if required
- Carry out as-built surveys of the lining (visual inspection and scans)
- Carry out convergence monitoring within the completed shaft portion
