Role Description:
Create, modify, manage production plans, monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing production status updates to management & monitor the production process to ensure that production plans are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates production schedule in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Evaluates purchase orders to create suitable production schedules & estimating the amount of material and equipment required for production
- Promptly addresses and resolves production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Communicates regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
- Prepare status and performance reports and submit them to management in a timely manner.
- Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
- Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Executes and manages the production schedule to support production operations.
- Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedule
- Collaborate with production, quality control, warehouse and other staff.
- Commitment to follow the quality procedure and ISO forms of planning department.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or equivalent degree
- Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent Communication (written and oral) and Teamwork skills
- Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015
