As part of our internship, you will be involved in:
A Baker Hughes Internship in Integrity Engineering is expected to help the engineering team in using inline inspection data and subsequent corrosion growth, axial strain and dent strain assessments to produce accurate and timely integrity reports for our customers on-time and to our high standards of quality. This will introduce you in the general field of pipeline integrity engineering combined with knowledge of the specific inspection technologies and analyses deployed by Baker Hughes.
To support to perform Integrity assessments based on corrosion, fracture mechanics and other mechanical engineering principles per Baker Hughes work instructions
Perform defect assessment using formula as per codes
Compare two sets of runs using MS Excel and generate a report with statistics
Extract data from final report and run some assessments
Produce assessment reports based on results achieved
Fuel your passion
Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering / Mathematic
Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
Be in your in your final or penultimate year of degree studies
Be fluent in oral and written English
Able to complete a 4-6 months for summer internship.
Have the legal right to work without restrictions or have company sponsorship in the country you have applied
