Software Engineer

+ Design and create services and system architecture for your projects, and contribute and provide feedback to other team members via technical design sessions.

• Design and develop user interfaces using JavaScript best practices.
• Work with the latest Javascript frameworks, including ReactJS, TypeScript, Yarn, and Web3JS.
• build, and ship scalable APIs to be consumed by our client-facing solutions.
• Build and maintain third-party API integrations, fetching, and processing of data.
• Develop application code and unit tests in front-end and rest web services.
• Work with the product and design teams to discuss the requirements of the value teams (including business, marketing, sales, and logistics operations), understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into usable and scalable features.
• Find the right balance between progress (i.e. shipping quickly) and perfection (i.e. measuring twice).

Who you are.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or relevant.
• 0-2 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Excellent programming skills in JavaScript, , Express framework and related technologies.
• Experience managing NoSQL databases/search engines such as Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.
• Knowledgeable with Typescript, Material-UI, and Web3JS a plus.
• Experience building and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with A/B testing and canary deployments.
• Knowledge of GCP, AWS, or other similar cloud providers. You care deeply about the user, and ideally have a strong eye for design.
• Knowledge of container technology (Docker, Kubernetes). Demonstrated expertise in managing a broad system with multiple integrated components.
• Ability to jump into legacy code and understand it quickly.
• You ship. You take ownership, you move with a sense of purpose, and you deliver results.
• Familiarity with design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
