Responsibilities:
Contacting debtors and negotiating payment plans to settle outstanding debts.
Following up on overdue accounts and initiating collection actions.
Understanding and applying relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection.
Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities and communications with debtors.
Providing timely updates to management regarding outstanding debts and collection efforts.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Debt Collector or similar role.
Knowledge of debt collection practices and techniques.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in computer systems and debt collection software.
