HR Planning & Development Specialist
Role Purpose :
The HR Planning & Development Officer is responsible for assisting, directing, and developing compensation and benefits, organization development, and talent management including but not limited to performance management, learning and development, and succession planning in order to implement the policies and processes for the group.
Key Accountabilities
1. Policies & Procedures:
Communicate and align all the policies with all SBUs.
Review all updates related to HR policies.
2. Compensation & Benefits Management:
Continuously assess the organization’s salary structure and benefits provision to ensure a balance between control of costs and attracting and retaining staff, and present findings to senior management.
Ensure the organization complies with local labor law/legal compensation and benefits requirements pertaining to local and expatriate staff.
Implement a job grading structure based on a systematic approach for evaluating the different positions at AHC. Ensure the methodology undertaken to conduct job evaluation and grading is communicated to the SBUs for the implementation of a uniform job grading approach across SBUs.
Ensure that the bonus and long-term incentive and short-term incentive schemes are implemented as per the approved schemes.
Maintain an organized filing system for all records in the Human Resources division with respect to compensation and benefits.
Research and analyze salary rates and benefits offered by other employers in the same sector within the region.
Participate in market surveys as appropriate with the aim of having sufficient understanding of market trends.
3. Performance Management:
Ensure the policies and procedures followed in the development of the performance management system are communicated to department and section heads in Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
Prepare reports and statistics summarizing the results of the annual employee performance appraisal and assist management to overcome any shortfalls.
Compile data on low performers and present to management for resolution.
4. Talent Development:
Develop a career management framework encompassing career path and succession planning.
Identify learning and development needs based on performance appraisal results.
Identify optimal training tools, training materials, and external trainers for the Group employees and communicate the relevant resources to SBUs.
Identify and introduce training and development methodologies and tools to ensure that they help raise the level of AHC staff with respect to that of competitors’ employees.
Develop contacts and relationships with external training or consulting providers to provide expertise required in training needs assessment and development areas.
Job Specifications:
A minimum of 0-1 years of Human Resources experience.
CIPD, SHRM certified – Preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Working knowledge in ERP, SAP HCM.
