This short-term engagement will be conducted remotely over 1-2 weeks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in optimizing retail operations and a strong understanding of value chain dynamics. The consultant will work closely with key stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, propose actionable solutions, and deliver a detailed operational plan that enhances the store’s overall performance.Key Responsibilities:Value Chain Analysis: Conduct an in-depth analysis of the retail store’s value chain to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Operational Plan Development: Design and develop a comprehensive operational plan that addresses key areas such as inventory management, supply chain logistics, in-store processes, customer service, and workforce optimization.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with store management and other relevant stakeholders to gather insights, understand current operational challenges, and align the proposed plan with business objectives.Qualifications:Proven experience as an Operations Consultant, with specific expertise in value chain analysis and optimization in the retail industry.Strong understanding of retail store operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and customer service.Ability to quickly assess operational challenges and develop practical, results-oriented solutions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies for remote collaboration and operational planning.Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight timelines.
