PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & FUNCTIONS The role holder shall perform junior management activities in support of their regional support manager. The role holder shall be expected to organise their team to address all preventative and corrective maintenance activities in support of the communications network including: 1. Effective man-management 2. Implementation of company process and procedures 3. Organisation of team material resources 4. Accurate and timely report delivery 5. Timely and accurate updating of the maintenance schedule database 6. Forecast material requirements The role holder shall interface with the power centre of excellence manager to facilitate power investigations, upgrades and expansions. SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Organisation of people assets taking into account vacation and training to ensure service restoration on all power plant mechanical/diesel, power plant electrical and air-conditioning/electrical field equipment faults are adhered to as per contract requirements. 2. Interface with the power centre of excellence team on power issues, improvements and expansions to ensure a robust implementation and investigation process. 3. To continually assess the levels of skill within the team and work conducted to ensure a high standard of service is provided at all times. 4. Conduct performance management reviews with an aim to develop staff skills to meet personal and company requirements. 5. Completion of Maintenance Service Outage (MSO) reports within 24-hours and Fault Investigation Reports (FIR) within 48-hours of service restoration by the team to the Regional Control Centre (RCC). 6. To ensure all team personnel adhere to all company processes and procedures for the activities requires to conduct work within the communications network. 7. To organise and ensure all maintenance activities are planned, performed and recorded in the maintenance database for presentation to the RSM on a monthly basis. 8. To ensure all materials are available in line with the company process, for the team to conduct their activities in a timely manner in order to meet the customer requirements. 9. To provide field support for the Janadriyah festival and Royal Inspection Tours to desert locations. 10. To ensure all team members are capable of provide ‘on the job training’ to technicians as directed by regional management.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION (Knowledge & Experience): 1. Junior management training or junior management/team leader experience within a network communication environment. 2. At least 3 years mechanical experience that includes power plant mechanical/diesel, power plant electrical and air-conditioning/electrical field equipments. 3. IT competence in the operation of Microsoft Office. 4. Good English verbal and writing skills. 5.
