The Education Policy & Communications Officer supports the management of a program(s) in the field. They will support the development of project work products, to include but not limited to, program timelines, budgets, reports, and other products/documents as identified.
Based in Amman and under the supervision of the Senior Early Grade Systems and Policies Manager, the Education Policy & Communications Officer will support the Education Systems and Policy team to engage with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education, university staff, and relevant partners to audit current policies and incentive structures and to develop relevant and well-aligned systems, policies, and practices across the Early Grade Education ecosystem in Jordan, including pre- and in-service teacher education and early grade education delivery. They will support program staff to share effective messaging that facilitates policy dialogue and drives decision-making around early grade education policy. They will collect input from consortium partners and other relevant actors that contribute to the design of an Action Plan for Early Grade Policy and lead communications elements of the Action Plan.
